Annual meeting 2024
Thank you for your very active participation in this year's meeting! As announced, here are the notes taken during the session:
Following topics have been recorded:
- Idea: integrate DGs, DGEs and DGNs into RS Polaris to give them direct access to more Polaris content than just public information (e.g. User Statistics).
- RIA: Export of Polaris members' personal data for import in RIA (e.g. Attendance lists), the technical requirements must be jointly coordinated.
- Presentation materials for PETS - regular training sessions provided to Presidents Elect - should be coordinated at national level (suggestion => via RMD, which oversees all Belux districts and enables to reach all clubs and members).
- FAQs: better structuring of FAQs (for example, identifying the minimum FAQs useful when starting up a club).
- Idea: It should be possible to change individually the order of the content blocks on the start page (Slider, Carousel, additional blocks).
- UI: should be more "sexy", less settings.
- GDPR: an Other contact with “Restaurant” right should only see the number of participants => Complete the relevant FAQ by drawing attention to the current situation in Polaris => conflict with GDPR!
- Rotary organization => Club search: for each district => by name or as a selection list in strict alphabetical order.
- Invoicing to RBS twice a year: July 15 and January 15 (from July 15, 2025).
The working language of the meeting will be English, with assistance in French, if required.
