Naam afzender

All Polaris e-mails, newsletters and other messages are always sent from a single and central e-mail address no-reply@polaris.rotary.xx , where xx is the domaine of a given country, e.g. .at, .be, .ch, .es, .fr, etc.. This e-mail address cannot be changed!

It is possible to change the sender's name, which is displayed in front of the e-mail address. Typically, the name of the club or district can be displayed there. Attention: The sender's name must not contain any special characters!

If messages are rejected as SPAM by a recipient's inbox, he/she must configure this Polaris e-mail address accordingly (trusted sender) in his/her own mailbox.

Club parameters

It is also possible to set the e-mail address to which a reply to this message will be sent. Typically, this is the e-mail address of the club or the e-mail address of the person who sent the message. You will only see this address when you write a reply.

The sender's name and the "Reply to address" can be set as default in the club's parameters. They can be overwritten when the message is sent.
