To all SEMDA customers and team members
Dear colleagues, ladies and gentlemen
The countdown for SEMDA-2 has begun. SEMDA-2 and its components will be decommissioned on Monday, December 1-st, 2025.
As of this date, the SEMDA-2 servers will no longer be accessible. This will have the following consequences:
- SEMDA-2 Data synchronization via XML will stop working
- SEMDA-2 GUI will not be available
- SEMDA-2 Web-Search on https://search.semda.se/login will not be available
- SEMDA-2 Web Pages on https://www.semda.se/index.htm will no longer be accessible
- All contracts regarding SEMDA-2 will expire
Before this happens, we strongly advise you to take this last opportunity to correct the data in your CMS, in MyRotary, or via the SEMDA-2 GUI in RI.
Data to be checked verified and corrected before you start productive usage of SEMDA-3:
- Correct Club names (we know about some 400 differences)
Different club names in your CMS and in RI may cause problems when searching for clubs. - Correct vendors which are set for clubs but not managed by your CMS. MyRotary allows to set a vendor, even if the CMS does not manage it. You should not get data from Pakistani club, which has accidentally set your CMS as a vendor.
- Correct the access mode of your CMS for all clubs in MyRotary. There may be only one vendor set es read-write and many vendors set as read-only.
- Check and correct the member count in each club. This will avoid many problems especially with the RI member fees.
Please do NOT try to change all member data and synchronize the change to RI. This would completely overload SEMDA and will cause an outage of several days!
The existing SEMDA related CMS / vendor names currently visible in MyRotary are listed here:
